OVEN ROASTED FRENCH FRIES

Oven Roasted French Fries- homemade, healthier, tastier, easy-as-can-be!

Sometimes you just need some fried food.  French Fries, Onion Rings, Bloomin' onions, all the good stuff.  Which has all the bad stuff- nasty fats and lots of calories.  Slowly but surely, though, I'm learning the secrets of oven frying things so that they don't soak up quite so much oil.

There aren't many in the bowl because I ate them before I could take a picture.  They're that good!

YOU WILL NEED:
2 medium russet potatoes
2 T. olive oil
salt

Preheat oven to 400'F.  Peel and slice the potatoes into sticks and spread them in a baking sheet.  Drizzle with the olive oil and toss to coat.  Spread them out flat in one layer and sprinkle with salt.  Bake for 40-60 minutes, or until tender and crisp on the edges.  Enjoy!
