5 MINUTE DIY PERFUMED BODY BUTTER IN THE MICROWAVE - how-to

Just take a sample of your favorite perfume and mix it with a few ingredients and, voila! you have an inexpensive perfumed lotion that is super moisturizing and all-natural (aside from the perfume).  You can also just add a few drops of your favorite perfume or essential oil.

This quick and easy body lotion will have your winter skin glowing and moisturized in no time.  It also makes a really great gift that no one has to know was easy and inexpensive!

Time: about 5 minutes
YOU WILL NEED:
1/2 c. shea butter
1/2 tsp. sweet almond oil
1/2 tsp. avocado oil
1/2 tsp. grated beeswax
perfume sample or essential oil
 4 oz. jar with lid

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the beeswax (about 30 seconds on high).

Add the shea butter and melt (about 20 second on high).

Add the sweet almond and avocado oils.  If they're cold, they may cause the beeswax to harden.  If this happens, microwave for 10 seconds on high or until it is melted again.

Allow to cool until opaque and thickened (it helps to put it in the refrigerator).

Using an egg beater, hand-held mixer, or stand mixer whip until light and fluffy (about 1-2 minutes).

Add your perfume or essential oil and spoon it into your jar.  The free printable labels can be found here.
