EASY CHEESY CRACKERS - vegan or gluten-free

These little babies are tasty, crunchy, and cheesy.  Want to know the secret?  Nutritional yeast!  I know, it sounds weird (the Man had some issue with it, until he ate half the batch of crackers, declaring that they tasted like Cheese Nips).  It's really tasty and pretty healthy stuff.  I also added wheat bran and a dash of curry powder for some pizazz.

YOU WILL NEED:

2 cups wheat flour (or rice flour if you want it to be gluten-free!)
2 T. Wheat Bran (omit if needing gluten-free)
6 T. Nutritional Yeast
2 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp. Curry Powder
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Salt to taste
1/4 cup water

KING OF THE CASTLE

This is Fritzcatrick looking majestic in his throne.  He couldn't help but test out the new toilet we installed in the bathroom.  Needless to say, his hijinks keep us entertained.  This photo is courtesy of my sister's photography blog Blue Sky Photographs.

CORK EDGED SUNGLASSES - an easy update for summer style

Summer almost here!  I dug out my cheap-o Target sunglasses from last year in a desperately deluded attempt to distract myself from the heaps of snow outside and the faraway date of "start of Spring".  They looked like they needed a little pepping up, so I grabbed some cork contact paper that was lying around and went to town on them.

YOU WILL NEED:
a piece of cork contact paper
sunglasses
pen
xacto knife.
